Après Ubud, on est parti vers le Nord dans la région du Gunung Batur. On dormait dans un petit hotel à Buahan autour du lac Danau Batur, avec de nos chambres une vue superbe.
Mais on était surtout là pour faire l'ascension du Gunung Batur (environ 2h) avec, arrivés tout en haut un petit dej pour assister au lever du soleil sur le volcan "d'en face" : le Gunung Agung (où là c'est plutôt 6h de rando pour le coup). C'était magnifique, vraiment.

After Ubud, we went up North in the Gunung Batur area, we slept in a small hotel in Buahan around the lake Danau Batur, with a beautiful view from our bedrooms. But we were mainly there to climb the Gunung Batur (about 2 hours)with at the top a breakfast to watch the sunrise over the volcano "opposite" Gunung Agung (where it's more likely 6h of hiking). It was amazing, really.
