* WEEKEND IM BERLIN #01 *

De retour de notre weekend à Berlin.
On peut dire qu'on a été franchement gâté niveau temps : certes il faisait froid (en même temps, début mars dans le nord de l'Allemagne fallait pas s'attendre à un miracle); mais grand beau ciel bleu avec du soleil qui chauffe le visage et tout. C'était parfait.

Evidemment, j'ai fait beaucoup trop de photos.

Alors on va y aller tranquillement, et commencer par un aperçu de notre hotel. On était au Michelberger hotel (qui malgré ce que ju m'a soutenu continuellement pendant 4 jours n'a rien à voir avec notre Michel Berger à nous). Hotel assez cool, avec resto & bar ou il fait bon s'affaler dans les canaps. De la déco genre récup branchouille. Des télés qui passent en continu "The Big Lebowski" (wtf ?)... Au final un hotel franchement hipster, mais bon qui dit hipster à Berlin, dit hipster abordable. Et puis l'hotel était plutot très bien placé, à la station Warschauer Strasse, pile entre Kreuzberg et Friedrichshain : donc tout plein de bar cool pas loin...

Donc on était bien.

So we're back from our weekend in Berlin.
Clearly we got very lucky with the weather : yes it was cold (but in March in Northern Germany, it's always cold) ; but the sky was plain blue and the sun was shining. It was perfect.

Of course, I took way too many photos.

So let's start with our hotel. We stayed at the Michelberger hotel. It was pretty cool, with a restaurant and a bar filled with cozy couches you never want to leave. Nice DIY decoration. Tv's broadcasting "The big Lebowski" all day long (wtf ?)... In the end, it was crearly a hipster hotel, but hipster in Berlin is affordable hipster. Plus the hotel was in a good spot, at the Warschauer Strasse station, right in between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain : so lots of cool bars nearby...

We were perfectly settled.
